The apartment: 860 square feet. Open kitchen and living room. Extensive amounts of light (8 total windows). Your bedroom is 125 square feet with a custom built closet for storage. Ceiling fan and AC in bedroom as well. There are also custom built shelves in the bedroom. Apartment has plenty of storage in both kitchen and living room. Brand new appliances in kitchen.
Building amenities include: gym, washer and dryer (in apartment), roof deck, hardwood floors, and air conditioning.
About me: I am a 26 year old professional working for a startup company in the East Village. I love to cook, watch and write about movies, and have an overall good time. I love to party as much as I love to kick back and mellow out. My family has two basset hound dogs that occasionally stay with me on the weekends.
About you: Age, race, sex, and sexual orientation do not matter. All I care about is that you pay the rent/bills on time and that if you have problems that you do not take a passive aggressive approach. Communication is key to me. If there is something up, let’s talk about it. I like to keep the common areas as neat as possible. I could care less about how you keep your room. You need to be 420 tolerable.
Rent is $1250 a month plus electric and cable /internet (around $100-$120 total depending on the time of year)

Our 3rd floor 1 bedroom apartment in a beautiful brownstone will be available for $450/week, all utilities (air conditioning, cable, etc) included. The apartment is in an amazing neighborhood on a quiet, tree-lined street, close to bars, restaurants, and a 5 min walk to multiple subway lines (only 3 stops from downtown Manhattan!).
The apartment is a good size, large for the City, with a walk in closet (as large as a small bedroom), oversized bedroom, and a comfortable sized living room.
